I wasn't allowed to watch much TV growing up. One hour per week. My choice was, of course, MacGuyver. To fill the other idle indoor childhood hours I was surrounded, floor to ceiling, by National Geographic magazines. Harvested from local thrift stores they dated back a century. I would spread my favorites out on the carpeted floor In front of the darkened TV and float for hours on a sea of chrome. It is in that spirit which you find me now.
